Microsoft SQL Server 2000

Easy-Easy Installation Process

What typically requires a number of installations for all the packages is now one simple process.

Internet enabled
After the software has been installed, you can download your license file (digital voucher) from the Exact Software North America Customer Portal. As product updates become available, you can download them here as well. If you have a network installation, the server can get the update. Subsequently, all workstations will be updated automatically when they are started up, making it easy for you to keep your software up to date. A complete workstation installation from the network take approximately 5 minutes. Updates only download select files and take only a fraction of this time.

Client-server
Macola ES is installed on the customer’s PC and the database is installed on a central server. This architecture increases processing speed and stability.

Operational safety and security
With Macola ES's client-server setup, one user cannot cause delays for all other network users. This increases the software's operational safety. Additionally, a transaction ‘roll back’ mechanism is used. In the event of a disturbance, such as a power failure, the transaction that was being processed at that point in time will be reversed. This prevents transactions from being stored in your system incompletely, and ensures the consistency of your information in the database.

Paperless
