Speed of financial reporting
All financial transactions, journals, open items and
distributions are now located in one table. The chance of
inconsistencies is greatly reduced and posting is much faster.
Posting is no longer a process that overloads your network and your
server.
Another advantage of using one transaction table is
that financial and invoice information are available in one
database. This allows information like sales statistics to be
retrieved from the financial system easily.
Entries are
processed immediately
An important speed gain is in the area
of processing/journalizing in General Ledger. Because entries are
processed immediately after posting and invoices are journalized
immediately after printing, significant of time is saved. Several
steps that were previously mandatory are no longer necessary. Only
enter information once
Macola ES records certain information
that occurs throughout the software in one table. In the employee
table for example, you only have to enter employees once, after
which they are accessible throughout the system. Separate databases
for vendors, customers, prospects, and system login users are a
thing of the past.
Overviews via Microsoft Excel
Exact Macola ES uses the industry standard software, Microsoft
Excel, for reporting financial information. The entry of data, like
budgets, has also been implemented via our own E-Excel Add-in. The
advantages are that you can present data from your Macola ES
database quickly and easily. Any information requiring further
analysis or processing is now available in Excel and never has to be
entered or "cut-and-pasted".
Integrated database
Since the databases for storing all your transactions are
integrated, reporting with all the accompanying data is clear and
simple in Macola ES. Information such as entry numbers, external
document numbers and general ledger data are stored in the same
database. This allows you to look up transactions in the system at
any time (transaction tracking).
