The goal of this class is for students to understand how Macola tracks inventory from the time it is purchased to the time it is sold. This course is good for Material Managers, Macola Administrators and Controllers. The objectives for this course include:

Course Description:   This highly interactive, hands-on course focuses on five of Macola’s most popular modules used in its light manufacturing solution: Inventory, Bills of Material, MRP, Master Scheduling, and Production Order Processing.  The goal is for the student to understand how to plan material requirements and how to plan and generate production orders using the Macola system.  You will see the power behind Macola's Production Order Processing module and it's flexible manufacturing planning and execution system. This is a good course for Material Managers, Production Schedulers, and Purchasing personnel even if their company is using Macola’s ERP solution because of its focus on materials management and master scheduling.  After the course you will understand:

Course Description:   This highly interactive, hands-on course focuses on the core modules used in Macola’s full ERP manufacturing solution: Inventory, Bills of Material, Standard Product Routing, Shop Floor Control, and Manufacturing Cost Accounting.  Two other modules, Standard Costing and Capacity Requirements Planning, will also be discussed briefly in regards to how resources can be more effectively planned.  The goal is for the student to understand the various methods and options of how shop orders are created and managed through their life cycle.  This course is designed for General Managers, Production Schedulers, Production Managers, and Cost Accountants to provide them with an understanding of how the pieces fit together.  After the class you will understand:

Crystal Reports (Version 10/11) for Macola

Cost:  $900

Course Description:  Crystal Reports is an end-user tool designed to obtain data from your Macola system.  This course if valuable not only to get information not otherwise available, but also to modify Macola's Integrated Crystal Reports.  During the class you will learn how to create reports, select and organize the data, format the output, and create graphs.  During the class, students will learn about Macola's data file structure and where data can be found.

Event Manager

Cost: $500

Course Description:   This class will provide the new user with the necessary information needed to implement, and use the Exact Event Manager, a Business Activity Monitoring(BAM) application. After the class your will understand:

* Key features, functions, and benefits of using the Exact Event Manger.

* The pre-installed Exact events for a quick start of Event Manger.

* How to create events that will respond to a given database condition and then automatically send a specific response.

* How to construct events that will automatically generate a Crystal Report.

* How to build events that will automatically update your database.

Note: an understanding of the SQL syntax is needed to write queries however all other aspects can be mastered by most individuals.

Course Description:   This course focuses on the modifications that can be made through the System Manager module.  User and group security is covered heavily.  It is designed for the Macola Administrator or other company managers that wish to know how Macola can be customized and properly maintained.

Payment Policies

Multi-Student Discounts:  10% discount for 2nd attendee, 20% discount for 3rd attendee, 30% discount for 4th  or more attendee from the same organization if all attendees are registered for the same class and paid for together.

Payment:  Payment is required in advance.  Mail company check to Beachwood Systems Consulting, Inc., 13315 Broadway Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44125 or call with credit card information.  Credit cards are charged when registering for the class.  Within three business days of receipt of your registration and payment, we will send a letter confirming the class and date(s) requested.  Please bring this confirmation letter to the class.

Cancellation:  Attendee cancellations must be made at least 5 business days prior to the class, otherwise fees are forfeited.  Class fees are NOT REFUNDABLE but can be applied to a class held within 6 months of the purchase date of the class if notification is provided on a timely basis.  Beachwood Systems reserves the right to reschedule a class.  Should this occur, you will be notified 5 business days prior to the class and will be entitled to a refund or receive credit toward a future class.

General Information:  Enrollment is limited.  Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis.  Video and audio taping is not permitted.  Dress is business casual.
